The other day, I posted this scene...

Which made me think of this scene...

So, what do I see is the difference between both?

For once, the first one feels more intimate, naive... they are testing the waters. Eddie is starting to feel he belongs to this world, and she makes him feel nervous. 😍 That's why he blushes when she says, "You prove yourself useful." And he sees she's proud of him. So when Jack arrives, it seems he has interrupted a date. He uses the word "lovebirds"... so it's something that everyone is noticing. They like/ are attracted to each other.

The second one, on the other hand, is full of lust. 🥵 The atmosphere there is heavy, they are not only attracted to one another but they also respect each other... Eddie is sure now that he belongs here, and she feels he has proven himself enough. Equal partners... Which makes the flirting more obvious, how they drop their voices when speaking, how she looks at his lips after shooting.

Man is it just me or are a lot of TV shows nowadays are written to have big emotional episodes in scenes with very little build up.

#txt #i have some thoughts on a certain show.... maybe i'll talk about it lol #like you would think with shortened seasons these writers would try to limit the cast so that big scenes feel more earned... but they dont?#they want these big massive expansive casts with big emotional moments by episode 2 and then every episode needs that Big Scene #i noticed this especially with a lot of indie animated shows #pacing and build up is sacrificed so we can have big emotional scenes with characters we know very little #even indie shows i enjoy im just kind of like “wouldnt this feel more earned if i actually knew this character”#and sometimes it works. pluto made me cry in the first episode! but it also spent so much time with these characters because #they're an hour long each

He has only moments left to live.#I honestly thought LQR died (adaption memory blur) and I did *not* expect him to show up here.#That said it does act as a way more personal blow to LWJ's reputation for LQR to be there.#By staying on WWX's side he's not only throwing his reputation to the wind but also facing familial judgment.#It hits so much harder when the choice isn't an easy one to make.#Choosing to stand at someone's side when they *have* actually messed up - when they do have faults and flaws - that's love.#Love is hard work! Love is not low maintenance and good days every day.#Love is being able to say 'I am choosing to bear your weight when things are heavy.' I don’t think you all grasp the depth of the finale and the show as whole: Loki used to be a side chracter who was killed off several times and often used only as a comic relief, and now he’s one of the most important character in the whole mcu… His character arc is incredible, one of the best in the whole mcu.

And all some of you seems to care about is that your ship didn’t become canon. Are you kidding me?!
